Church and was largely attended by relatives and friends. The services were conducted by the rector, Rev. Robert Gatewood. "Asleep in Jesus" was sung by the congregation, after which Miss Mary Thurston sang "Sleep on Beloved," which brought the whole audience to tears. At the conclusion of the services the remains were borne to the hearse and conveyed to their last resting place in Magnolia Cemetery. the following young men acted as pallbearers: Roland Denby, J.C. Morgan, Eppa Roane, John Colonna, Edward Dashiell, R.L. Cox, Arthur and Henry McCoy. Norfolk Virginian May 19, 1896 ********************************************************************** Miss Mary E. Etheridge died on Saturday night at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Etheridge, on Mulberry Street, Berkley, aged 19 years. The funeral was held yesterday at 5 o'clock from St. Paull's P.E.
