Etheridge, who has been sick for some time, quietly passed away at her residence, on the corner of Chestnut and Pearl Streets, in the 51st year of her age. She was a good woman, whom every one loved who knew her. Her death has been hourly expected for the past few days and death relieved her sufferings yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. She leaves seven children--three boys and four girls and a brother, Mr. John N. Hodges. Her funeral will take place at 3 o'clock Monday from St. Paul's P.E. Church and the services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Robert Gatewood. ********************************************************************* The funeral of the late Mrs. India V. Etheridge took place from St. Paul's P.E. Church yesterday afternoon, Rev. Robert Gatewood officiating. The remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery, the following gentlemen acting as pall-bearers: T.C. Humphries, John F. Dalby, Thos. Dashiell, Geo. S. West, Jos. T. Herbert, W.H. Kirby, E.E. Hathaway and L.C. Jones.
