Norfolk Virginian-Pilot  December 28, 1952

Herbert V. Etheridge, 64, husband of Mrs. Margaret Bray Etheridge and son of the 
late William R. and Mrs. Lilly Morrisette Etheridge, died yesterday at 3:15 a.m. 
at a Norfolk hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 1304 DeBree Avenue at the 
time of his death.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Herbert V. Etheridge, Jr., 
Edward Etheridge and Joseph Etheridge; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Binkley and a 
sister, Mrs. H.C. Law, all of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments today at 7:30 
p.m.

Herbert V. Etheridge — Funeral services for Mr. Etheridge, who died Saturday, 
were conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. 
Edward W. Johnston, pastor. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers 
were Elias Codd, Paul McLaughlin, Gus Russo and Phillip Sullivan.
