Graves FH September 2024
Leola Vivian Theresa Etheridge, our mother, received her wings on Monday 
September 16th, 2024.
While Leola truly loved her family, she enjoyed singing, dancing, reading, 
crossword puzzles, history and traveling. She was preceeded in death by her 
parents, Ernest Sr. and Lottie Nichols and husband, James Edwards Etheridge Sr. 
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Aquitta (Dana) Arnold, Beverly 
Anderson and Karen Smitherman of Virginia Beach; James Edward Etheridge Jr 
(Sigretta) of Maryland and Angela (Ann) Bright of Suffolk, Virginia; 
grandchildren, great- grandchildren, as well as her sister/best friend Josephine 
Cheek.
A part of us is gone but she will always be in our hearts.
