Virginian Pilot August 11, 1904
Mrs. Rhoda Etheridge, relict of the late Wilson Etheridge, formerly of this 
place, died at her home, 135 Bank street, Norfolk, yesterday about 12 o'clock, 
after a brief illness.  The deceased was 69 years of age and leaves several 
relatives and a host of friends.  The funeral will be conducted from the home of 
J.V. Kiernan, at the above numbered residence, this afternoon at 5 o'clock, Rev. 
Herbert Scholz, pastor of Main Street Christian Church, officiating and the 
interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The obsequies of the late Mrs. Rhoda A. Etheridge, who died at the home of J.V. 
Kiernan, 135 Bank street, Norfolk, was conducted from the residence yesterday 
afternoon at 5 o'clock, Rev. Herbert Scholz, pastor of Main Street Christian 
Church, officiating.  The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.  The funeral was 
quite largely attended despite the inclement weather.
