Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 27, 1919

Mrs. Blanche Breeden Etheridge, wife of D.B. Etheridge, died at the 
residence, 1809 Highland Avenue, yesterday morning at 11:21 o'clock.  She 
was 24 years old.  Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in 
Elmwood Cemetery this afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. J.T. Riddick.  Mrs. 
Etheridge is survived by her husband, infant son, parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. 
Breeden, three sisters, Mrs. E.G. Wright, Miss Emily Cornelia Breeden and 
Miss Lucy Breeden and one brother Robert Oliver Breeden.

The funeral services of Mrs. Blanche Breeden Etheridge, whose death occurred 
Sunday, were held at the grave, Elmwood Cemetery, yesterday afternoon.  Rev. 
J.T. Riddick, of Park Avenue Baptist Church officiated, assisted by Rev. 
W.H. Davis, of McKendree Methodist Church.
Pallbearers were W.C. Clark, J.C. Clark, W.O. Breeden, E.L Breeden, J.T. 
Etheridge, C.P. Etheridge.
