Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, June 26, 2000 
Lavon Olando Etheridge Jr. of the 3100 block of Kemet Road, died June 22, 2000.

He was born in Norfolk and is survived by his mother, Tonya Wilson; father,
Lavon O. Etheridge; and three brothers, Terrance Wilson, Tyquon Wilson and Tavon
Wilson, all of Chesapeake; grandmothers, Virginia May of Norfolk and Darlene
Basnight of Chesapeake; great-grandmothers, Louise Etheridge of Chesapeake and
Shirley Wilson of Norfolk; great-grandfather, Garland Wilson of Norfolk; uncle,
Kenyun Basnight of Chesapeake; and a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins,
relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk, by the Rev. Harold Cason. Family and friends will assemble at the
cemetery. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Avenue Chapel, is handling
arrangements.
