Mary E. Etheridge, 67, a retired dietitian, died Oct. 10, 1994, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Etheridge was born in Appalachia, Va., and was retired from Hillhaven Holmes 
Health Care.

Survivors include four daughters, Jude Frances Panella and Mary J. Smith, both of 
North Charleston, S.C., Julia C. Dail of Virginia Beach and Diane J. Burrell of 
Russellville, Ark.; two sons, Jan F. Panella of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joseph M. 
Panella of Norfolk; one sister, Dyana Collins of Norton, Va.; a brother, Harmon L. 
Dye of Ocala, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater 
Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
