Robert Gatewood, rector, officiating. The funeral was very largely attended and many beautiful floral wreathes were laid on the mound that marks the last resting place in Magnolia Cemetery. The deceased was a son of the late John N and Mrs. Indie V. Etheridge. He is survived by a brother and two sisters, John S. Etheridge and Misses Rosa and India Etheridge, of this place. The deceased was a member of Company A. Seventy-first Virginia regiment and served throughout the Spanish-American war. The following were pallbearers: A.H. Boushell, D.W. Lindsey, Edward Lindsey, N.P. Tatem, James F. Tatem, Percy A. Smith, George D. Parker, Jr., Edward J.
