 Virginian Pilot Tuesday October 30,1900
The funeral of Mrs. Polly Etheridge, who died at her residence, No. 253 Church 
street, on Sunday morning at 2 o'clock, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 
o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. J.J. Taylor, of the Freemason 
Street Baptist Church. The remains were interred in Elmwood Cemetery.
 Following were the pall-bearers: Messrs. W.H. Boult, H.C. Johnson, J.R. 
Rayfield, H.Brown, L.H. Powell, Floyd Parker, George Kegebein and John T. 
Buchanan.
