The Virginian Pilot Saturday March 6, 1971
Mrs. Nannie Saunders Eure, 90, of 5536 Lewis Road, the widow of Arthur J. 
Eure and a daughter of James R. and Mrs. Nancy Umphlett Saunders, died in a 
hospital Friday at 5:50 p.m.
A native of Winton, N.C., she lived in Norfolk 65 years.
She retired as a seamstress from Frank Thomas Co. clothing store in 1965 
after 45 years. 
She is survived by a son, Arthur Roland Eure of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River 
Road, Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Leonard Hazelwood of Ferebee-Halstead 
United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
