The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Friday January 23, 1914
Arthur J. Eure died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family residence, 4 
Walke street, after a month's illness. He was 31 years old. He is survived by a 
widow and a small son; two brothers, Fletcher and Eddie Eure, and one sister, 
Mrs. C.H. Eure. He was a member of Thomas Jefferson lodge, Jr., O.U.A. 
Mechanics; Gilmerton Lodge of Masons and of the Masters' Mates and Pilots' 
Association. 
The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the above 
residence.
