Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 15, 1930

Charles Edward Eure, aged 79, of 1433 Seaboard avenue, South Norfolk, died 
at a local hospital Monday night at 10:25 o'clock after an illness of three 
weeks.  He was a native of Hertford County, N.C. and had made his home in 
this section 28 years ago.
He is survived by two sons, C.F Eure, of South Norfolk and Edward W. Eure, 
of Princess Anne County and one daughter, Mrs. Bertie Drake, of Chicago.
He was a member of Oakdale Lodge No. 70, I.O.O.F. and Chesapeake Avenue 
Methodist Church, South Norfolk.  The body was removed to the funeral home 
of Graham and Sykes, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk.
Funeral service will be conducted in the Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church 
Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. 
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
