Virginian-Pilot & Norfolk Landmark, March 30, 1933
Walter Virginius Eustis, aged 76, husband of Sarah Carty Eustis, died at his 
residence, 126 Randall Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock. Besides his 
wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Madeline R. Mosca, two sons, J. Walter 
and Robert H. Eustis; a grandson, Alfon B. Mosca, Jr., and several nieces and ne
nephews.
Mr. Eustis was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and had been an e
employee of the Navy Yard for 16 years, until his retirement 18 months ago. He w
was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and was first sergeant in the Old N
Norfolk City Guards.
The body will be taken from the residence to Ocean View Baptist Church for 
funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
