The Virginian Pilot Thursday March 29. 1979
Guy Lambert Evans Sr., 80, of 1293 W. Ocean View Ave., the husband of the 
late Mrs. Evelyn Berry Evans and a native of Hampton, died Wednesday in a 
hospital.
He lived here most of his life. He was retired from the Virginia Department 
of Highways and also from Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Commission.
He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Guy L. Evans Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. 
Alice Pixley of Hampton; a brother, William Evans of Pennsylvania; and three 
grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery with H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments in charge.
