Virginian-Pilot September 29, 1922
EVANS - At the residence of his nephew, Henry O. Billups, Portlock, Norfolk 
County, Va., Thursday morning, September 28, 1922, at 6:30 o'clock, HENRY K. 
EVANS, aged 83 years.
Funeral services THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON, September 29, at 4 o'clock, from the 
McKendree M. E. Church. Friends of the family invited to attend.
Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
While his tombstone shows his death was on the 26th, his death certificate and 
obituary say it was the 28th.
