Virginian Pilot August 30, 1978

Mrs. Katharine Evelyn Berry Evans, 79, of 1293 W. Ocean View Ave., the wife of 
Guy L. Evans Sr., died Tuesday in a hospital.
She was born in Elizabeth City, N.C. and lived in this area most of her life.
Other survivors include a son, Guy L. Evans Jr. of Virginia Beach.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments for a funeral Friday at 
11 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery by Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr.
