VIRGINIA BEACH - Mary Walsh Evans, 79, died Dec. 7, 2005. Mrs. Evans was a native 
of Norfolk and had lived in the Tidewater area all of her life. She was the 
daughter of the late Matthew and Nancy Walsh and was also preceded in death by a 
son, Herbert Ray Evans Jr.; a sister, Sharon Casey; and a brother, Matthew F. 
Walsh. She was retired from civil service and was a member of the Immaculate 
Conception Mission. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be 
deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Maryanne Evans of Albuquerque, N.M., Matthew Evans 
of Chesapeake, Danny Evans and his significant other Lori Krzeszewski of 
Chesapeake, Stephanie West and her husband Harold of Chesapeake, Andrea Sepulveda 
and her husband Jose Bracero of Orlando, Fla., and Elizabeth Charalambous and her 
husband Bambos of Virginia Beach; one sister, Carol Heath and her husband 
Franklin; one brother, Edward Walsh of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; and many 
nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The Rosary will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, at 7:30 p.m. 
Sunday. A Requiem Mass will be held in the funeral home chapel Monday at 11 a.m. 
with burial to follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
