Virginian-Pilot  July 27, 1954
John Evans, 67, son of the late Jose and Mrs. Dominica Eurria Echaveguren, died at 
a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 10 a.m.

He was a native of Spain and a resident of Norfolk for 25 years, residing at 128 
Talbot Street at the time of his death.  He is survived by one sister in Spain and 
several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 10:30 
a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
