Jessica Louise Evans, 38, of Norfolk, VA, passed away April 5, 2018.

Born in Virginia, she was driven and did exactly what she wanted. Oftentimes, she 
was selfless and gave her all to those around her. She was strong-willed, 
empathetic and a gifted writer. She wrote beautiful poetry and short stories. She 
enjoyed the Beatles, building puzzles, and doing crafts. She had a natural beauty 
about her and a smile that would light up the room.

Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Pauline 
Selig and paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Barnett. Left to cherish her memory: 
two sons, Ty Brown and Jackson Evans; the love of her life, Brian Fell; mother & 
stepfather, Theresa & Jeffrey Berens; father, Steven Barnett; brother, Joshua 
Martin; two sisters, Ashley Waldbueser and Cheyanne Berens; paternal grandmother, 
Nancy Duncan; and paternal great grandmother Dorothy Farmer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on April 15, 2018, at the Knights of 
Columbus Hall, 5201 Kennebeck Ave., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, the family 
requests donations made at https://www.gofundme.com/jessica-louise-evans 
Arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
