Evans, who died last Friday at St. Vincent’s Hospital, aged 69 years, took place at 3 p.m. yesterday from the residence of his son-in-law, H.F. Broswell, 433 West Brambleton Avenue and was largely attended. Rev. T. J. Taylor of Queen Street Methodist Church officiating. The Odd Fellows, of which fraternity he was a member, were in attendance. The interment was in Elmwood. The following were pall-bearers. From Washington Lodge, I.O.O.F.-W.G. Duncan, C.C. Boggs and J. E. McCoy From Jerusalem Encampment No. 4, I.O.O.F. -George T. Kemp, D.D. Lucy and George W. Hill. Employees of the Norfolk and Western Railway-C.L Guinn and J.T. Campbell.
