NORFOLK — Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Callan Evans, widow of Frank A. Evans, 
who died Wednesday, were conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church yesterday at 10 
a.m. by the Rev. Thomas J. Walsh, pastor. Present in the sanctuary were the Rev. 
John Dunne, the Rev. John J. Bannon, the Rev. Walter W. Herbert and the Rev. 
Raymond T. McIntyre. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry 
Payne White, John D. Drew, William P. Egerton, Samuel M. Subers, Martin O. Cahill, 
Frank J. Hatton and John J. Collins, Jr.
