Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 23, 1917

The funeral of Mrs. Alice Evans, widow of Thaddeus Evans, who died Wednesday in 
Cincinnati, Ohio, will take place tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the grave in 
Elmwood Cemetery, immediately after the arrival of the body via the C. & O. Mrs. 
Evans is survived by her father, James Copeland of Oregon; a son, Henry Evans of 
North Carolina; a sister of Washington, D.C. and a brother, Charles Copeland of 
Wyoming.
