            FRANK P. EVANS, WELL KNOWN RESIDENT, DIES AT AGE OF 75

Frank P. Evans, aged 75, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at his 
home, 734 Graydon Park, last night at 8:45 o'clock. Mr. Evans was widely known, 
particularly to the older generation. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. 
John S. Drew, Mrs. Harry T. White, Mrs. John M. Love and Miss Margaret Hickey 
Evans; two sons, Frank A. and Clement P. Evans, all of Norfolk; one brother, 
Louis Evans and three grandchildren, Harry P. White, John D. Drew and John M. 
Love, Jr. His wife Mrs. Mary Hickey Evans, died August 6, 1925.
Funeral services will be conducted in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday 
morning at 10:30 o'clock and interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Frank P. Evans — Funeral services for Mr. Evans were conducted at 10:30 o'clock 
yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. E. C. Kiefer. The 
Rev. Thomas E. Waters and the Rev. R. B. Kealey were present. Father Kiefer paid 
a very high tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. During 
the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang "Abide With Me,” with Mrs. C. R. Davies, 
organist. 
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were Harry D Oliver, A. E. 
Murray, B. B. Ferguson, Otto Wells, Capt. E. H. Scott, P. J. Riley, Melvin T. 
Blassingham, John B. Loughran, Claude B. White and William B. Ryan.
