Norfolk Journal and Guide,June 5,1954
Robert Evans Jr., 8 months old of 958 Dolphin street, died at 1:45 a.m. May 17 
at a Norfolk hospital. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. May 23 at 
Calvary Cemetery with the Rev. Z. P. Jenkins, pastor Union Congregational 
Christian Church.

Young Evans was a native of Hertford NC and is survived by his parents, Mrs. 
and Mrs. Robert L. Evans,Sr. Hale's Funeral Home was in charge.
