Virginian Pilot August 13, 1909
Melvin C. Everett, the three-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Everett, died 
yesterday morning at the family residence, 203 State street.  The funeral will 
be conducted from the above residence this morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. E.W. 
Cowling, rector of St. Thomas Episcopal church, officiating, and the interment 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of little Melvin C. Everett was conducted from the family residence, 
203 State street, yesterday morning at 11 o'clock.  Rev. E.W. Cowling, rector of 
St. Thomas' Episcopal church, conducted the services and the interment was in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
