Melva E. Everette of the 300 block of Keith Court died May 5, 2004, in Sentara 
Norfolk General Hospital. She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Clarence 
Everette Sr. Mrs. Everette was employed by Feathers and Fin. 

She is survived by three daughters, Melva Conyers (Steve), Shelia Hill and Linda 
Taylor (Roya) of Chesapeake; three sons, the Rev. Clarence Everette Jr. (Kathy) 
of Virginia Beach, the Rev. Edward M. Everette (the Rev. Rose Mary) of Norfolk, 
and Hortzell Lee Everette (Christina) of Chesapeake; 32 grandchildren; 28 great-
grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Josephine 
Daniels; and many other relatives and friends. 

A funeral will be held Monday at noon in Good News Family Worship, 925 N. 
Military Hwy., Norfolk, by the Rev. Clarence Everette Jr. and the Rev. Edward M. 
Everette. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Fitchett Funeral Home is 
in charge.
