Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch May 14, 1924
Sallie Ann Everton, aged 11 years, four months and 16 days, died Tuesday afternoon 
at 1:50 o'clock at the residence of her parents, Edward B. and Mrs. Florence 
Holland Everton, 900 Elizabeth street, Berkley, after an illness of three weeks. 
Besides her parents she is survived by three brothers, Edward H., Walter L. and 
Melvin T. Everton, and one sister, Mrs. A. S. Wagner. The body was taken to the 
residence of her sister, Mrs. A. S. Wagner, 811 Lee street.
The funeral will take place from the First Christian church, Thursday afternoon at 
2 o'clock, and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. John G. Truitt. Interment 
will be in Elmwood cemetery, Norfolk. Friends of the family invited.
