Virginian-Pilot October 29, 1966
NORFOLK — Clifton C. Everts, 72, of 842 W. 48th St., retired Naval Operating Base 
carpenter and son of James M. and Mrs. Ada B. Everts, died Wednesday in McGuire 
Veterans Hospital, Richmond.
A native of Coon Rapids, Iowa, he lived in Norfolk 25 years.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Vulcan Masonic Lodge 229, Walnut, 
Kan.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ervin Boomer of Placerville, Calif.
The body was taken from Twiford Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral 
service Friday by the Rev. H. H. Fillion Jr. of Willow Wood Presbyterian Church.
