NORFOLK — Mrs. Anna M. Ewald, 84, widow of George F. Ewald and daughter of William 
and Mrs. Anna Creedon Carroll, a native of Philadelphia and a former Norfolk 
resident, died in Ottawa, Canada, early this week.
Surviving are two sons, Air Force Capt. George C. Ewald and Joseph F. Ewald of 
Astoria, Ore;; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Monday at 9:30 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
