He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, and the Holy Name Society of that church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Anna Maria Carroll Ewald, he is survived by two sons, George Carroll Ewald, USAF, of Washington and Joseph Frederick Ewald, of Astoria, Ore.; one brother, William J. Ewald, of Hillside, N.J. and a sister, Mrs. Joseph N. Nichols, of Germantown, Pa. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. *************************************************************************** George Frederick Ewald — Funeral services for Mr. Ewald, who died Monday night, were conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Francis L. Bradican. The Rev. M. J. Harrison, the Rev. John Meehan and the Rev. Harry Magee were present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Miller, Michael Buchanan, Paul McKenzie, Roy Jamison, Albert E. Price, Sr., S. W.
