Ewell, widow of Ezekiel Ewell, died Sunday night after a long illness. She was 85 years old. She was a native of this city, having lived here all her life. She was a member of Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She leaves one son, Oscar Ewell. The funeral will take place at 3 p.m. today from Oliver's funeral apartments on Freemason Street. Rev. H.H. Covington will conduct the services and the interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. ************************************************************************ The funeral of Mrs. Caroline V. Ewell, widow of Ezekiel Ewell, took place at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the funeral apartments of H.D. Oliver, 510-512 East Freemason Street. The services were conducted by Rev. H.H. Covington, rector of Old St. Paul's P.E. Church and interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Vincent Davis sang "One Sweet, Solemn Thought." The pallbearers were Paul Bears, W.H. Gordon, C.O. Sherwood, H.S. Jarvis, J.J. Dozier, J.J. Brounley and C.O. Bell.
