He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. J.E. Odom, of Norfolk, Mrs. N.R. Patrick, of Russburg, Va. and Mrs. E.T. Herrick, of Kempsville and one son, A.E. Ewell, of Bayville, The funeral will take place tomorrow from the residence at noon and the burial will be in Elmwood at 2 o'clock. ************************************************************************** The funeral of Joseph Baynes Ewell took place yesterday at noon, at the residence of his son, A.E. Ewell, Bayville, Va., and was conducted by Rev. W.L. King, of Haygood Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. R. Aubrey Williams, of Park Place Baptist Church. The funeral was largely attended and there were numerous floral offerings. Among the flowers were a wreath of roses and galax leaves from the Park Place Baptist Church; a spray of sweet peas from the Philathea class of Park Place Baptist Church, and a spray of Easter lilies from the Ladies Working Society of the same church. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, the pallbearers being Judge B.D. White, Judge A.J. Ackiss, Robert Woodhouse, Dr. E.W. Whitehead, W.E. Smith and Shepherd James.
