FABER SERIOUSLY ILL Mr. J.L .Faber, Sr. is reported to be at the point of death at the home of his son, Mr. J.H. Faber, 119 Park Avenue. Mr. Faber, Sr. is 85 years old and has been in feeble health for some time. He has three sons, Mr. J.H. Faber, Mr. J.J. Faber and Mr. J.L. Faber, Jr. ************************************************************************ Mr. John Lewis Faber, Sr. died Sunday evening at the residence of his son, Mr. Joseph H. Faber. No. 119 Park Avenue. Mr. Faber was born in Charleston, S.C., March 29, 1811 and had one week before his death celebrated his eighty-fifth birthday. He leaves a wife and three sons to mourn his loss. He was a man of high honor and lived and died in the faith and hope of a Christian. His funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. today from the Park Avenue Baptist Church.
