Amanda Jean Fabian , 17, of the 1200 block of Glyndon Drive, died April 22, 2002, 
in a local hospital.

Amanda was born in Seoul, Korea, Nov. 17, 1984. She was a student at Princess Anne 
High School and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Virginia 
Beach.

Survivors include her mother and her stepfather, Jean Fabian Symons and John 
Symons of Virginia Beach; her grandmother, Bertha Carpovich; her father and 
stepmother, Kenneth Walter Fabian and Helene Fabian of Moyock, N.C.; two brothers, 
Kenneth Fabian Jr. and Mark Fabian of Virginia Beach; a sister, Kimberly Lukehart 
of Chicago, Ill.; an uncle, William W. Harris of Massachusetts; and two nieces and 
two nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory the 
Great Catholic Church by Father John-Mary Tompkins. Interment will follow at St. 
Mary's Catholic Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is in 
charge.
