Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 11, 1922

Walter Edward Face, 68 years old, died Sunday night at his home, 415 West 
Nineteenth Street, following an illness of several years. He is survived by his 
wife, Mrs. Walter Edward Face; two daughters, Mrs. B.B. Ferguson, of Portsmouth; 
Mrs. Samuel H. Way, of Norfolk; one son, Edward W. Face, of Albuquerque, N.M.; 
three sisters, Mrs. W.K. Ferguson, of Norfolk; Mrs. Florence B. Reed, of 
Baltimore and Mrs. W.A. Minter, of Norfolk; and one brother, George S. Face, of 
Norfolk.
Mr. Face was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of the Second 
Presbyterian Church.
 Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Second 
Presbyterian Church, Rev. D. N. McLaughlin, D.D., officiating. Burial will be in 
the Elmwood Cemetery.
