Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 27, 1993
Dorothy M. Face, a long-time resident of Virginia Beach, died July 24, 1993, in 
a Virginia Beach nursing home. 
Mrs. Face was a member of Larchmont United Methodist Church in Norfolk and the 
Larchmont Methodist Women. She was a charter member of the Borough of Norfolk 
Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Face served for 24 years as 
a Gray Lady for the American Red Cross at the U.S. Public Heath Hospital. 
She is survived by two sons, Samuel A. Face Jr. of Norfolk and Robert L. Face of 
Virginia Beach; one brother, Robert Muhlig of Cape Coral, Fla.; four 
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 
A graveside service was held on July 26, in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road, handled arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Larchmont United Methodist Church or to a 
charity of choice.
