Mrs. Catherine Veronica Fagan — Funeral services for Mrs. Fagan, widow of James 
Fagan, whose death occurred Sunday at the residence, 10 York Apartments, 429 West 
York street, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church with the Rev. L. C. Newman, pastor of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 
Wilson, N.C., a grand-nephew of the deceased, officiating. The Rev. E. P. 
Kilgalen, the Rev. Paul Heller and the Rev. T. P. Scannell were in the sanctuary. 
There was a large attendance. The casket was covered with a pall of snapdragons, 
chrysanthemums, roses and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were John Cahill, Moran Barry, Jr., Littleton Parks, Vincent 
Alexander, Ellis Edwards, J. J. O’Donnell, Billie Whitaker and Bruce Stewart.
