Brown Fairer, 65, wife of A.W. Fairer, Sr., died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 5:45 o'clock after a short illness. She was the daughter of John K. and Mrs. Hannah M. Brown, a native of Richlands, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for 22 years, residing at 420 Raleigh avenue. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lou A. Morton and Mrs. Kate B. Booth, of Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Mrs. E.R. Lusk, of Birmingham, Ala.; a stepson, Cecil Raymond Fairer, of Norfolk, and four stepchildren(?). The body was removed to the James V.
