Norfolk Landmark September 25, 1886
Died from His Injuries
Mr. J. Faison, late fireman on the tug H. McFadden, and who it was announced in 
these columns yesterday was badly scalded by the giving way of a steam valve on 
that vessel Thursday morning, died at Saint Vincent's Hospital at a late hour 
Thursday night from the injuries sustained by the occurrence of the accident. The 
remains of Mr. Faison were taken from the hospital for interment last evening.
