William I. Faison, 82, of 938 E. Princess Anne Road died Sunday in Hampton Veterans Hospital. A native of Rich Square, N.C., he was the husband of Mrs. Victoria Faison and a son of Granville and Mrs. Florence Faison. He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a retired minister of the AME Zion Church and worked for W.G. Swartz Co. as a nightwatchman. He was a member of Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church. Surviving are a stepson, Purnell Williams of New York; two daughters, Mrs. Fannie Harris of Norfolk and Mrs. Blanche Thompson of Aulander, N.C.; a brother, Adrie Faison of Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Luzetta Scott of Baltimore; 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
