Norfolk - Laverne B. Faison of 1410 W. 49th street, a student at James Madison
Junior High School, was given final rites Tuesday in First Baptist Church. 
Riddick Funeral Service had charge.  The Norfolk native died Jan. 7 in his home.

He was a son of Sonny and Mrs. Geneva Faison.  He was a member of First Baptist
Church, Lamberts Point.

Also surviving are two brothers, Vincent L. Faison and James F. Faison of
Norfolk;  and two sisters, Vanessa D. Faison and Phyllis Faison of Norfolk.
