Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday October 12, 1950


Mrs. Eva George Fallon, widow of William F. Fallon and daughter of the late 
Alex and Mrs. Georgianna Bonnella George, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 6:45 a.m. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George A 
Carnegie; a son, George W. Barrett; six grandchildren, Mrs. John Cronin, 
Mrs. L.P. Shipp, Mrs. R.J. Scherberger and Mrs. M. K. Buchanan, all of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. M.K. Buchanan, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. A. Gaines, of 
Alexandria, and Harry Lowery, of Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.
Mrs. Fallon was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 908 Raleigh 
Avenue. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Rebekah Lodge No. 
13, I.O.O.F.; Virginia Chapter No. 22, O.E.S., and Degree of Pocahontas.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today 
at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood.
