Father William A. Fallon took place yesterday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic church, solemn requiem mass being conducted by Celebrant Rev. M. J. Ahern, of Old Point; deacon, Rev. Charles Donahoe, of Portsmouth; sub- deacon, Rev. V. D. Warren, of Norfolk. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Thomas J. Wilson, of Old Point. The service was largely attended. "Thou, O Lord, Art My Protector," was sung by Mrs. James Hughes. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery, the pallbearers being: J. A. Baecher, M. J. Murphy. W. M. Hannan, T. J. Hogan, A. J. Smith, C. M. Barry, J. C. Gordon and M. J. Madden. Rt. Rev. D. J. O’Connell, of Richmond, bishop of this diocese, was present, his deacons of honor being: Rev. John McVerry, of Winchester, Va., and Rev. John J. Doherty, of Norfolk. Other priests present were: Rev. F. J. Lucke, of Old Point College; Rev. T. E. Waters, of Norfolk; Rev. Leo Ryan, of Norfolk; Rev. James Gllsenan, of Roanoke Va.; Rev. H. J. McKeefry, of Richmond; Rev. Valentine Cuevas, of Norfolk; Monsignor John T. Whelan, of Baltimore; Rev. Fr. Meninges, C. M., of Baltimore; Rev. A. S. Wllczek, of Portsmouth, and Rev. D. J.
