NORFOLK - John Thomas Falls Sr., 68, of 5707 Granby St., died in a hospital Monday 
morning.
A native of Norfolk, he was a retired electrician. He was a Navy Veteran of World 
War II, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He was the husband of Mrs. Margaret Duffy Falls and a son of Charles Burke and 
Mrs. Catherine Tormey Falls.
Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, John T. Falls Jr., Thomas Joseph 
Falls, and Gerald Flynn Falls, and a brother, Francis Charles Falls, all of 
Norfolk; and a grandchild.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Newport 
Avenue, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to a 
charity.
