NORFOLK - Audrey Beard Falos passed away May 25, 2007.
She was born and raised in Norfolk to the late Frank and Zella Beard and was 
also predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Louis Falos Sr.; a son, Carl R. 
Falos; and her first husband, George Zernheld, who was killed in action in World 
War II. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal 
Church, where she served on the Women's Vestry, the Altar Guild and was past 
president of the Episcopal Church Union. She was active in the Cub Scouts and 
Boy Scouts of America.
She is survived by a son, Louis Falos Jr. and Shirley Sowell; granddaughter, 
Denise Knauff and husband Lee; two great-granddaughters, Brooke and Heather; a 
sister, Beatrice B. Aughtry; a faithful niece, Linda Rae Armstrong; a niece, 
Marsha Aughtry; two nephews, William C. Aughtry and Frank L. Beard; and a loving 
goddaughter, Carolyn Harris.
A funeral will be held at the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church, Tuesday 
at 2 p.m. Burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery. Cremation & Funeral 
Services of Tidewater is handling arrangements.
