NORFOLK - Louis Bernard Falos Sr., 82, of the 1500 block of Harmon Street, died 
Aug. 7, 2003, in Norfolk.
Mr. Falos was born in Grand Forks, N.D., son of the late John and Violet Falos. 
He was a member for more than 53 years of Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 
serving as a junior warden for several terms on its vestry. He also was a Navy 
veteran, serving 23 years in the service before starting his own business, Falos 
Home Maintenance Company, which he operated for 30 years before retiring in 
1992. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association in Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Audrey Beard Falos; his son, Louis B. 
Falos Jr. of Sweetwater, Tenn.; five sisters, Shirley Libdehl, Mary Lou Ekren, 
Beverly Remmie, Karen Kopperbig and Janette Spropnicky; four brothers, John Dale 
Falos, Ronald Falos, Dwayne Falos and Gary Falos; a granddaughter, Deniece 
Kanauss; and two great-granddaughters, Brooke and Heather Kanauss. He was 
preceded in death by his son, Carl Ray Falos; his brother, Harold Falos; and his 
sister, Gerry Sollom.
A memorial Mass will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Episcopal Church of the 
Epiphany, 1530 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, by the Rev. Richard Bridgewater.
He was a great lover of animals and, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may 
be made to the Norfolk Chapter of the SPCA, 916 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA 
23504. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
