Norfolk Virginian-Pilot  December 19, 1946

Miss Eileen Elizabeth Fantone, 33, daughter of Mrs. Mary Estelle McCarthy 
Fantone and the late Claude V. Fantone, a native and lifelong resident of 
Norfolk, died at a local hospital yesterday at 5:15 a.m.
Besides her mother, Mrs. Mary Estelle McCarthy Fantone, she is survived by two 
sisters, Miss Mary Carmel Fantone and Mrs. James E. Manning, all of Norfolk; two 
nephews and one niece.
The body will be taken from the residence, 323 West Twenty-seventh Street, to 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which Miss Fantone was a member, for funeral 
services Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary 
services will be held at the residence tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
