He was a member of Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B. P. O. Elks, and of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Surviving him are two sons, John M. Fantone, of Washington, D.C.. and Hugh F. Fantone Jr., USAF; two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte F. Orr, of National City, Calif., and Mrs. Evelyn F. Stancil, of Norfolk; three grandchildren; four brothers, James E. Fantone, of Norfolk, William H. Fantone, of Virginia Beach, Joseph J. Fantone, of Norfolk, and Caroleen H. Fantone, of Newtown, Pa., and three sisters, Mrs. Blanche F. Pestorius and Mrs. Mary F. Thompson, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Falecha F. Keele, of Washington, D.C. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments tonight at 7:30 o’clock.
