The Virginian Pilot March 18, 1962
Miss Annie Jenkins Farant, 69, daughter of William B. and Mrs. Annie Jenkins 
Farant and a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 11 a.m. Saturday in her 
home, 638 Graydon Ave.
She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Mary Farant Ferebee, and a brother, William B. 
Farant, both of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 
12:30 p.m. by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams of Christ and St. Luke's Church.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.  The family requests that flowers be 
omitted.
